English language tour of HoS was held on July 20th. About 30 participants from different countries visited the Museum of Sexual Slavery by Japanese Military with the high-skilled guides of the International Outreach team of HoS. After exploring the museum, Lee Okseon halmoni made her testimony as a survivor of Japanese Military Sexual Slavery (only 21 survivors are alive in South Korea today and she is one of the few survivors who can give public testimony). As usual, Okseon halmoni's attendance taught us important lessons about inspiration & empowerment and aroused between us a feeling of solidarity towards fighting for justice for all women who were forced to be sex slaves through Japanese Military during the Asian pacific War. Thank you Okseon halmoni for sharing your experiences with us!!!
